This privacy policy explains how Multilateral Studio ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects personal information when you use our website, purchase our products or services, subscribe to our newsletter, take the British-LatAm Friction Scorecard™, or join the Multilateral Circle™ membership community.
We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data in line with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

What personal data we collect
Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:
- Contact details: name, job title, email address, phone number, postal address
- Enquiry details: the content of messages you send us through contact or booking forms
- Scorecard responses: answers you give when taking the British-LatAm Friction Scorecard™, collected via our assessment provider, ScoreApp
- Membership and account data: if you join the Multilateral Circle™, your profile information, posts, and activity within the membership community, hosted on our platform, Kajabi
- Purchase and billing information: for books, the Field Kit, coaching sessions, workshops, or keynotes, including transaction details, but not full card numbers. These are processed directly by our payment processors: Stripe and Kajabi Payments
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, and website usage data collected through cookies (see Cookies, below)
We do not collect or store full payment card details. These are handled directly by our payment processor.
How we use your data and our lawful basis for doing so
We use your data for the following purposes, and rely on the lawful bases shown:
- To respond to enquiries and provide the products or services you've requested — necessary for performance of a contract, or to take steps at your request before entering into one
- To deliver Scorecard results and follow-up content — consent, given when you take the Scorecard
- To administer your Multilateral Circle™ membership and community access — performance of a contract
- To send the Friction Dispatch newsletter and other marketing communications — consent, or, where you are an existing customer, our legitimate interest in marketing similar products or services to you (the "soft opt-in" under UK marketing law), always with the ability to opt out
- To improve our website, products, and services — legitimate interest
- To meet our legal and regulatory obligations — legal obligation
You can withdraw consent, or opt out of marketing, at any time (see Your rights, below).
Who we share your data with
We use a small number of trusted service providers to run our business. They only process your data on our instructions, for the purposes above:
- Kajabi, our website, course, community, and email platform
- ScoreApp, our Friction Scorecard assessment tool
- Kajabi payments, our payment processing service
We do not sell your personal data. We will not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes without your explicit consent, and will only disclose it beyond the above where required by law.
International data transfers
We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes it was collected for.
Cookies
Our website uses cookies to run properly, understand how it's used, and, where you've given consent, support marketing. We use Cookie Script to manage cookie consent. When you first visit, you can choose which categories of cookies to accept beyond those strictly necessary for the site to function.
You can change your cookie preferences at any time through the cookie settings link in our website footer, or through your browser settings.
Security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including SSL encryption on our website and restricting access to personal data to those who need it to do their job.
Your rights

- Opt out of direct marketing at any time

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, please contact us first at [email protected] so we can try to resolve it. We will acknowledge your complaint within 30 days and respond in full without undue delay.
